This is our list of recommended reception venues for after your ceremony at Asylum Chapel. Whilst we allow food and drinks vans and banquet-style dining at AMP Studios,  please note that only canapés and standing drinks may be served at Asylum.

AMP Studios

897a Old Kent Road, SE15 1NL

Situated just off the Old Kent Road, in two railway arches AMP Studios are just an 8 minute walk from Asylum and a 10 minute walk from Queens Road and New Cross Gate Stations.

The arches provide the perfect sister venue to Asylum as they are a blank canvas, in which you can decide your own food and decorations and we can run our onsite bar for you. There is a generous outdoor courtyard, this is covered by a specially commissioned pavilion designed by Gruff Architects. There is also a smaller rear courtyard which can be used for your catering setup.


Brunswick House

30 Wandsworth Road, SW8 2LG

Guests enter through the grand, Coadestone portico leaving the roar of twentieth century London behind. Inside its lofty Georgian interior the panelled rooms are packed with salvaged curiosities, magnificent chimneypieces, brilliant cut glass entranceways, sparkling chandeliers and noble colonnades. Private dining and receptions can be held in many of the beautiful room including the Saloon, the Cellar Rooms, Smoking Room, the Study, Parlour and the Panelled Library. Exclusive hire of the house can be arranged. Catering is provided in-house by the highly acclaimed chefs of the Brunswick House Restaurant.


The Camberwell Arms

Upstairs at The Camberwell Arms Events upstairs at The Camberwell Arms is our (homemade) bread and butter – Our grand pub rooms have been transformed into a light-filled and elegant private dining room that can accommodate 45 guests seated and 60 guests standing. We bring menus showcasing seasonal ingredients at their peak for menus served family style. We’ll give you a dedicated party planner to make sure that the arrangements go smoothly and you’ll have experienced and exuberant team members serving you on the night.

Catering by The Camberwell Arms aligns provenance and seasonality to inspire bespoke menus created by Michael Davies. We continue to work with the country’s most prestigious suppliers to build menus that confidently showcase exemplary ingredients. Taking cues from hosts, our aim is to avoid overcomplicating naturally bold flavours and serve dishes in an informal, convivial and familial manner. For 20 to 200 covers, to almost any location and working with your budget, our team can support and nurture most areas of your special day.
